Trivia
- At maximum potential, Roark's Rampardos has the highest HP stat of all Pokémon in Pokémon Masters EX.
- In his sync pair story, Roark says that he dreams of digging up enough fossils to open his own museum.
Origin
Roark's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Cranidos is Roark's signature Pokémon during his Gym battle against the player in the core series games, while Rampardos serves the same role during the rematches against him in Pokémon Platinum and during the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Cranidos and Rampardos's Dex entries come from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
