(Japanese: ィ゙アゼ Iaze) is a dual-type Normal/Ground glitch Pokémon. It is unofficially known as Rainer, since the game shows the name divided in 2 lines, with the second line showing that part of the name.
It only appears in Red and Blue and will turn into X ゥ- xゥ, if traded to Yellow. It can be encountered by performing Method #3 of the Mew glitch using a Pokémon with a special stat of 196, or obtained via the Time Capsule exploit with Typhlosion.
's cry is one channel of the 'wild Pokémon defeated' song at half the normal tempo. It replaces the battle music once the glitch Pokémon is sent out.
Glitches caused
Upon encounter, its front sprite freezes the game. The game may also freeze if the player attempts to battle with it. If the Pokédex is viewed after catching , it will revert to a Rhydon. This can be aoided by having Persian marked as 'seen' in the players pokedex
If is sent into battle by the character and the battle ends, several character sprites start walking across the screen.
