Poppy with Tinkaton and Rika

Trivia

  • Poppy & Tinkaton's buddy move Steel-Hard Gigaton Hammer is the only buddy move that functions identically to how the base move works in the core series games.
  • All versions of Poppy use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Rika, Larry, and Geeta.

Origin

Poppy's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Tinkaton is Poppy's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Tinkaton's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
