Bleakwind Storm (Japanese: こがらしあらし Wintry Wind Storm) is a damage-dealing Flying-type move introduced during Generation VIII, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is the signature move of Tornadus.
Effect
Generation VIII
Bleakwind Storm inflicts damage and has a 30% chance (50% chance in the strong style) to leave the target with frostbite.
|
Generation IX
Bleakwind Storm's PP and power were changed to 10 and 100, respectively. It now has a 30% chance of lowering each target's Speed by one stage. In a battle with multiple opponents, Bleakwind Storm will target all adjacent opponents.
When used during rain, Bleakwind Storm bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
Bleakwind Storm is a wind move.
