:: A good example is Togekiss' Air Slash. With Serene Grace, it's 60%. However, Air Slash stacked with King's Rock alone is 51%, according to the Flinch Moves article. The question that this article (and that article) should clear up is, for example, whether Serene Grace kicks in BEFORE or AFTER King's Rock/Razor Claw/etc. If it kicks in afterwards, then the result is 102% for Air Slash – autoflinch. If Serene Grace kicks in before, then it is only 72%, again, using the formula from the Flinch Moves article. This is a big difference, and should be clarified. I'm using Togekiss' Air Slash as an example since it's one of the more popular Serene-Grace usages, but this is something that should be clarified for all users of Serene Grace. Stacking Serene Grace

If a pokemon held a king's rock, razor claw or other similar item would the rate of flinch/other effect be doubled as well? The article doesn't clarify this.--Dragonite42 08:17, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

I think this goes with what Dragonite42 said, can you stack Serene Grace, that is, further increase chances of added effects if one Pokémon with Serene Grace getting an increase if attacking another Pokémon with Serene Grace?
A good example is Togekiss' Air Slash. Do item effects kick in before or after abilities --Satosuke 15:46, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
From Pikiwyn answering on my userspace: "Moves that already have a flinch chance gain an additional chance to flinch when the user holds King's Rock or Razor Claw. The total flinch chance for a move with inherent flinch chance p when the user holds King's Rock or Razor Claw is given by p + (1 - p) * 0.1. For example, a Serene Grace Pokemon using Air Slash while holding King's Rock has a 0.6 + (1 - 0.6) * 0.1 = 64% chance to flinch. I got that from Smogon." This should be added to the page. Nature Power changes into different moves based on terrain. If it changes into a move that Serene Grace affects, then yes. If it doesn't, then no. Metronome, Assist, etc. all work this way. --SnorlaxMonster 04:29, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
