==Trivia==
*Despite it being a {{type2|Poison}} move, {{p|Koffing}} and {{p|Weezing}} are the only Poison-type Pokémon that can learn Smog naturally, with {{p|Gulpin}} and {{p|Stunky}} learning it through breeding.
* In [[Pokémon Stadium]] and {{pkmn|Stadium 2}}, Smog is described as having a 50% chance of poisoning its target, but it actually has a 40% chance.
**In fact, the other Pokémon that can learn it naturally are either pure or part {{type2|Fire}}.
