Battle Royale is a mode in Pokémon Rumble that resembles a gym like in the Pokémon Games. The player and up to three other players may fight many other Pokémon and then each rank's bosses, named Powerful Rivals in the game. A somewhat large reward is granted for defeating the rivals. Unlike other places in Rumble, the player is not allowed to switch out Pokémon if one is about to be knocked out, so the game must be played wisely. Defeating the Battle Royale will earn the player 15,000P.
