Hiun City (Japanese: ヒウンシティ Hiun City) is a large seaside city located in central Isshu. The city is a huge and sprawling metropolis taking host to towering skyscrapers and tall buildings, and features many commercial attractions and landmarks. Hiun City is surrounded by water in the south and a desert in the north, therefor the easiest way for people to travel to the city is by boat creating a perfect harbor city. The two rivers in between the city flow from the north of Isshu into the sea, sectioning off the city making it extremely difficult to travel to by foot. The large city has only two entrances by foot, one from the north that leads directly into a desert, and one via Sky Arrow Bridge leading into the east.

Hiun City is one of the largest cities in the Pokémon world that has been revealed. It contains many structural elements that has not been seen in other cities before. The main part of the city represents a Central business district with huge skyscrapers and tall commercial buildings. In between these structures are a series of alleyways which lead into other smaller areas that are seen to have small shops and markets. The outer region of the city is a harbor side for boats. Because the city is surrounded by water, boats, ships, and ferries are used to optimize transportation into the city.

Places of interest

Sky Arrow Bridge

The Sky Arrow Bridge is a long suspension bridge located in eastern Hiun City. The bridge links the city to another section of Isshu and serves as a mean of transportation into and out of the city. The bridge has two spans to support it across the water and loops off on the eastern entrance. The bridge can simply just be walked across and shows a stunning view of the city when traveled.

Other locations

Other areas and places of interest can be seen in pre-release pictures of Pokémon Black and White, but they have not been fully explored or explained. Many of the skyscrapers are oddly structured and can be entered, some have large banners on the buildings. In one of the city alleyways there is also a pink shop with many people gathered around it. On the outskirts of the city, there is a viewing platform which sights the ocean and Sky Arrow Bridge. A multi-storied Pokémon Center can also be seen on the harbor side.
