Mt. Mortar is a large cave in Johto connecting Ecruteak City and Mahogany Town. It is an optional cave to enter, but contains many valuable items and Pokémon. Also, the Karate King trains there, and if the player finds and defeats him in a battle, he will give them a Tyrogue.
