It evolves into Urugamoth starting at level 59.

Meraruba can spit fire from its five horns as a defensive tactic.

Meraruba keep predators away by shooting fire from its horns.

Meraruba live at the feet of volcanoes.

• Out of all Pokémon that evolve by a set level, Meraruba evolves later than any other Pokémon who have not yet evolved, at level 59.
• Meraruba and its evolved form have a unique type combination.
  • This makes them the only non-Flying-type Pokémon to have a quadruple weakness to Template:Type2 moves.
• As of Generation V, Meraruba is the last Pokémon in the National Pokédex that evolves into another Pokémon.
