ゥ, (Japanese: ふイヂ Fuiji) the small katakana for u, is a dual-type Normal/Ground Glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is also often referred to as the "Japanese symbol" Pokémon by those unfamiliar with Katakana writing system.
It has an identification number of 205 and evolves into Spearow at Level 9. It is known to cause graphical glitches upon capture, and sending it into battle will cause the game to freeze. When traded to Pokémon Yellow, it will become ♀, the female symbol Glitch Pokémon. It can only be obtained in the wild through method #3 of the Mew Glitch and having a Pokémon with a special stat of 193. It will freeze the game upon encounter, usually before the battle can even commence. When sent into battle after obtaining, the whole game crashes.
