Storm Drain (Japanese: よびみず Pump Preparation) is an ability that draws all Template:Type2 attacks to the Pokémon. Four Pokémon have this ability. In a double battle, a Pokémon with this ability will force all water attacks to exclusively strike it; this ability is rendered ineffective in a single battle. Unlike Lightningrod, since no types are immune to Water, the four Pokémon with this ability take half or full damage from Water attacks, rendering it less useful in general than a Ground-type with Lightningrod. Having a Pokémon with the ability Storm Drain at the front of your party will also cause the chances of encountering a Template:Type2 wild Pokémon to increase.
