Trivia
Origin
Ducklett seems to be based on a duckling or cygnet. Its bottom plumage also resembles a swimming tube or some kind of swimming shorts like briefs for babies, while its evolved form has similar plumage that resembles a bikini. Its name suggests that it may also be based on the ugly duckling, who someday becomes a beautiful swan.
Name origin
Its name is probably a combination of duck and wet or the suffix -lett, meaning small or young. It may also be a corruption of ducklet. Its Japanese name is likely a combination of 子 Ko, child, or 小 Ko, small, and a corruption of 家鴨 Ahiru, duck.
