"Luxray is the only Electric-type Pokémon that can learn Superpower"—Eelektross and Thundurus can learn it too. I think I found a way to reword it, but I feel like I should have someone else's approval. I was thinking something like "Luxray is the only pre-Generation V Pokémon that can learn Superpower." How can you say that Luxray is a reference to Shadow the Hedgehog and not realize how similar it is to Raidramon? --Raijinili 04:45, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- Actually it doesn't look at all like either of them in my opinion. But it does in fact have similar looks and attitude to Manectric. TheBlazikenMaster 14:11, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- An electric monster which has a blue, black, and yellow color scheme? --Raijinili 04:23, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, maybe those two are a lot different, but in opinion it's a lot more similar to Manectric than it is to Sonic. TheBlazikenMaster 13:19, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Luxray is very similar to Manectric, but outside of the Pokémon 'universe', I have to say that it's very similar to Shadow. Although that way be a bit of a 'biased' opinion, since I have on multiple occasions tried to find the Pokémon equivalent of other characters, including ones in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. - I personally don't care what happens, opinion is exactly the reason why this can't be in the trivia, we can never agree on how similar Luxray looks compared to anything since there is always someone who disagrees. Now who agrees that we should just stop this discussion and just keep comparatives to other characters (of Pokémon or other media) off the trivia section? I believe it would be best for us all. TheBlazikenMaster 03:23, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Luxray does not look anything like Shadow. The only similarity is Luxray's Mane and Shadow's Head Spikes. If you will ever see any real similarity, it will be when Luxray stands up, and grows shoes and extra hair on his chest, and then he changes colour. And Luxray and Manectric... the only similarity is they are both electricity, and they both walk on all fours, and they may be similar in height.

[Luxray] can't learn Scratch or any other claw-based moves
Zen Coyote's edit in the trivia section is technically incorrect because it can learn a claw-based move, Fury Cutter, through tutoring. Rpp 00:10, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Fire and Ice Fang
Luxray can learn these moves via a move tutor on Platinum...Chomi 14:54, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- But there isn't a tutor in Platinum that can teach either Fire Fang or Ice Fang. Nor is there one in HGSS. Werdnae (talk) 20:30, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Luxray learns Fire Fang and Ice Fang via breeding. I've done it myself. —darklordtrom 20:43, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Hey...
Is it worth noting in the Trivia section (under his unique base stat total point) that each and every stage of the Luxray evolution line has a base stat total unique to them? Also, are there any other evolutionary lines that do this (I would assume there are, but still worth checking, I think)?--Silentzerox 01:25, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
