I've looked online and no one knows how to teach a starter Pokémon a hidden ability blazkin has one. I thought they would be taught in an event or breeding but according to what you said this won't work as the event has it's original ability and you can't get starters from the dream world so breeding is out of the question so does anyone know how you get blazkin's hidden ability?

:Many Hidden Abilities are programmed into the games but have not yet been made available. Off the top of my head, the upcoming [http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/pokemon/torchic_distribution/ Torchic-holding-Blazikenite] event for XY is the only Hidden Ability Torchic event I know of. By the way, Blaziken would make a brilliant Fighting and Flying type if it wasn't a Fire type. (Irrelevant) Tesh 17:54, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

However, Blaziken does have more power than Infernape.

Can somebody rewrite that sentence? It isn't clear what stat this is supposed to be referred to. By power does it mean the Attack stat? Special Attack state? The powerful fire-type moves, clarification needed. TheBlazikenMaster 23:24, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Blaziken resembles Brooklyn from the Gargoyles TV series and comics.

Aside from the similarities in color and the fact that they both have a distinctly non-human face, I really don't see the resemblance. Eeveeman133 13:35, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't see it either, and I'm of the mind that these resemblances need to stop. ~$aturn¥oshi THE VOICES 14:08, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I removed it. Even for a trivia section, I see no need to point out a vague similarity that was most likely unintended. Eeveeman133 19:55, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
If you removed it, it's come back. Should it be removed again? Thermorules123 19:51, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Done. It's been removed. Jello 20:14, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

flaming wrists

it says that Blaziken has flames spouting from its wrists like in the anime but how come none of its sprites have them? Ultamatecharizard 16:10, 26 September 2008 (UTC) Um, because they dont. It would be really cool to see one made though.Shadow lucario 04:23, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

The Mystery Dungeon attack sprites for Blaziken have flamming wrists. Thermorules123 18:59, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Blaziken's Blast Burn

I think it's necessary to mention that Blaziken's Blast Burn on a Paras can do the most damage (hypothetical) of ALL possible situations (Lv100, with Blaze activated, in strong sunlight, SAtk +6, Metronome maximized, critical hit, as well as Lv1 Paras with Dry Skin, -6 SDef). It's over 10^10. Rxhar 10:13, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

That's because Paras has a 4x weakness to fire--FF(editstalk) 10:16, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
And remember that it's not just Blaziken with the Blast Burn. Charizard, Typhlosion, and Infernape too. R.A. Hunter Blade 12:48, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Actually, whichever has the highest Sp.A. of those. TTEchidna 15:16, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
I meant who can have Blast Burn, but I get what you mean. For base Sp. Attack it would be Blaziken with 110, while Charizard and Typhy have 109, and Infernape has 104. I haven't ever had a Blaziken with more Sp. Attack than any Charizard or Typhlosion though. R.A. Hunter Blade 20:35, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Well, Blaziken's attack only does 13 million damage. Shuckle's rollout on Yanma does 213 million. S and T 01:26, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

I thought it was a maxed defense shuckle with power trick and rollout and defence curl and all that fun stuff--Bulbsur-ivysaur-venusaur 23:25, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Why would it be MAXED defense? Thermorules123 19:02, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Ignoring the fact that you've just replied to a 3 month old conversation, it needs maxed defense as Power Trick swaps the user's current Attack and Defense stats. It is explained a bit more here. Werdnae (talk) 19:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Double Edge

Can we say If a Blaziken was migrated from Fr/Lg to DPPt knowing Double Edge, then learning the other two versions it can know, then will it be the only Pokémon to know the most as of Gen IV or are there others. I've the best as I can so I need some confirmation. Thank You. Laxafett 12:25, 12 July 2009(UTC)

Smeargle

Why is Smeargle not listed as a parent in Blaziken's Egg Move table? There should be no instances where Chain breeding is "required".--Purimpopoie 04:33, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Edit Request

Anime Pokedex EP271 Ash's Pokedex 'Blaziken, the Blaze Pokémon. Blaziken is able to easily leap over 30 story buildings with its great lower body stregnth.' Please and thank you. Littlmiget123 15:33, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Superman Origins?

Blaziken shares many similarities with Superman, including the ability to "leap tall buildings in a single bound". At least 30 ft tall buildings. Also they kinda share a color scheme, Blaziken has blue and yellow eyes. Another thing, in the PokePark Pad entry, it mentions him loving power and justice. Is this worth mentioning anywhere? --"FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2" 01:28, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

I agree with you. It's learning Brave bird might be a reference to superman's flying. S and T 05:06, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, I think that's probably just because it's a bird. --FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2 23:42, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
No. It doesn't have a big red S anywhere on its body This is opinion.--ForceFire 01:55, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
How is it opinion? --FiMbUlWiNtEr2O|2 07:23, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Blaziken's Movepool

I noticed in Generation III, Blaziken was able to learn Mirror Move through Level Up, but in Generations IV and V, Mirror Move was replaced with Brave Bird. Is that trivia worthy on Blaziken's page or could this be noted on Mirror Move and/or Brave Bird's page? --PKMNAdventurer 16:38, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

That's not trivia worthy. Movesets change like that all the time. Werdnae (talk) 18:44, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok. I was just curious. Thanks anyway. :) --PKMNAdventurer 19:35, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Mega

Shouldn't the generation 6 Mega evolution, Mega Bursyamo (English name not known yet) be added to this page? As reported on Bulbanews, it was confirmed in Corocoro. Digifiend (talk) 18:27, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

It'll be added in time. We have little information on what Mega Evolution even is right now. Ataro (talk) 18:29, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
Shouldn't we at least add a picture? Shanicpower (talk) 18:14, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
No. Let's at least wait to see the actual procedure on how exactly Blaziken changes into his mega form. Zorocario (talk) 22:55, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

When MegaBlaziken's section is added/new page is created, should it be mentioned in the 'Trivia' section that MegaBlaziken's "hair" is slightly reminiscent of the original design for the beta version of Torchic in that it sticks out in two parts at either side of the top of the head?--ShinyPatch (talk) 20:10, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Biology

Someone edited the Biology section with information on Mega Blaziken. Someone ALSO completely removed all of the sub-sections from Biology (Gender Differences, Habitat, etc.) and rewrote the entire thing, turning it into three painful paragraphs. It was unnecessary, and a bit messy now. I've noticed it on a few other Pokémon pages, too, such as Combusken, Sceptile, etc. Was this intentional? It looked much nicer the other way. Austinrich1 (talk) 00:30, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

See here as to why the Biology section was changed. — Reshi643 00:34, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
