| Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of {{2v2|Gold|Silver}} in Japan, and {{2v2|Gold|Silver}} in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:{{BASEPAGENAME}}|action=purge}} {{color|{{link color}}|here}}]</span> to return to the page and change the display.

Trivia

"Only in Generation II, this pokémon can use both effects of curse" What happened in Gen III to keep this from happening? Me and my fellow torchics agree on this - Sk8torchic 20:10, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Curse is learnt via a TM in Generation II. Porygon/2 can no longer obtain Curse in Generation III and later. Gywall(Talk) 20:12, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Although it is technically still possible to use both effects of Curse on the same Pokémon, even as of Generation IV. Have a Smeargle get Curse, Conversion, and a Ghost-type move through Sketch. Use Curse to get the stat-altering effect, then use Conversion to switch Smeargle's type to Ghost, then use Curse again to get the HP-cutting effect. --Shiningpikablu252 20:29, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
What if that fails miserably and Smeargle turns into a ???-type? Me and my fellow torchics agree on this - Sk8torchic 21:02, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Conversion won't work if you only have Curse. They thought of it. TTEchidna 19:55, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Gen VI move list

So, Porygon2 can learn the following moves by leveling up. Update the list as you find more, so whoever edits the main article has a full list ready. Tilde Tilde Tilde Tilde Omega Metroid (talk) 03:20, 18 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

It can also relearn Sharpen from the move relearner, due to Porygon now learning it at Lv.1 (added by Omega Metroid (talk) 03:20, 18 January 2014 (UTC)).Reply
