English and Japanese name origins

Pikipeck is most likely derived from picus (Latin for woodpecker), possibly pico (Spanish for beak or crest), and peck. Tsutsukera is a combination of 突く tsutsuku (to peck) and 啄木鳥 keratsutsuki (woodpecker).--Siobonbon (talk) 18:10, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Evolutions

could its name also be a corruption of tiki? afterall, this is a hawaii based region and tikis are often made of wood. Yamitora1 (talk) 04:03, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
