:I think you meant talk page as the image removal occurred on your talk page. Anyway, I did so as images weren't allowed to be on signatures according to the {{bp|Signature policy}}. Cheers. The form that the evolved Pokémon was in at the time should be linked to instead of the evolved form unless it's at an episode after said Pokémon evolved in.
Archives user page redirect
Could you please tell me how I could redirect my Archives userpage to my Bulbapedia userpage? I tried it with the regular redirect page style, but it didn't work. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 06:53, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I did some testing with the preview button to make it match mine and it turns out that the curly braces need to be replaced with square brackets and replace | with :. Give it a try, I hope it works. PattyMan 19:49, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I gave it a whirl, and indeed it worked. Thanks a lot for your help! :) --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 20:50, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Friendly reminder
Hiya, just a friendly reminder from me and other users to be careful when dealing with untranslated Japanese. While it's definitely helpful to add missing information however you are able, be careful to avoid errors or misinformation. It can be more damaging to have potentially wrong or mixed-up information than none at all. There are a lot of things I'd like to add myself, but have not yet due to my limited understanding of Japanese, so I'm holding off until I can be certain that the information is accurate and not missing any important details. Thanks for your continued recent contributions of scans tho :) as I mentioned, I've been wanting to get rid of those MPJ gifs since time and it's much appreciated. let me know if you have any questions \o/ --ZestyCactus 02:32, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder. I'm not sure if this is allowed but I got one of the names, Senpai, here, and the other ones that turned out to be Japanese words according to Tiddlywinks from the pages related to the link. Feel free to remove the link if its not allowed. Ataro did the right thing when he contacted you even though the way it was worded signified that I continued after being told beforehand, but that wouldn't matter in this case. At least he mentioned it politely unlike another user who got told on twice due to the addition of rude remarks. I went ahead and removed the names in the HIBAPC characters template to avoid false information. Feel free to delete the pages and images. I have one question; for the moves, was it okay to add them if they were from a Japanese-only manga since I went on Bulbapedia to check what they were before adding them? PattyMan 03:27, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Moves are awesome cause when they appear in manga, they're named and spelled exactly the same as in the Japanese games when they're called out. This made it extremely easy for me to identify the moves in Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl as all I had to do was check the move's page to confirm the same spelling to know that, cool, Dawn really did command Piplup to use BubbleBeam or whatever. So moves are definitely legit to keep if they were checked out in that method.
- Regarding Senpai, what I get from that is that he might not have a name (or if he does, it's somewhere in all that Japanese on the page you've shown me) as senpai is an honorific used for an upperclassman (see Sr. and Jr.'s Japanese name as an example) or, in the workplace, a worker who is more senior in the company than the worker who is addressing them as senpai in the first place. (using wiki staff as a boring example, Ataro would theoretically address me in Japanese as senpai as I am his senior on the Bulbapedia staff, likewise, I would address him as kōhai as he is my junior). My guess is that he doesn't have a name and is referred as senpai as he is the most senior of all the scientists/researchers that appeared in that chapter. Again, this is my estimate and shouldn't be published as official information by any means until someone with more knowledge of Japanese than either of us can read the chapter and confirm it :P I would suggest keeping the images for now as from the looks of it he does have a major impact on the plot and the images are definitely useful (the picture of the Old Amber could probably be added to the respective page...) we just need to come up with a decent conjectural title, or at least find some way to indicate that senpai isn't his real name. :P --ZestyCactus 03:58, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Cats
Hello,
As you're reverting my cat fixes, I'd like to discuss it here. The reason for my edits is to fix the grammar; "James's" is completely incorrect. Yet, despite this, you said "That's how it's supposed to be." Unless this site has decided to not use proper grammar anymore, I'm pretty sure it belongs in a "James' Pokemon" category. --FireGambit (talk) 17:26, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
A little reminder
Whilst I know why you edited my talk page, but can you please give me at least five minutes? I was typing up my response when you made that edit. Thank you.--ForceFire 06:12, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- I was going to apologize on your talk page but you beated me here. Still, my apologies for giving you the edit conflict. I thought I waited the right amount of time to put in the
{{unsigned}}
template, but it turned out I rushed. I have one request, there are five images of Team Plasma's Pokémon in the anime that have Plasma Grunt in their name, can you change them to Team Plasma? PattyMan 06:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Ahem.
OK, I'm going to ask this once. This was translated into English? When. Ataro (talk) 04:39, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- There was an English version on jb2448's site that had that in English. It didn't tell me when it was released in English, nor if the translations were unofficial or not. PattyMan 13:46, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Uh oh, just noticed on the Pokémon universe page mentioned that it wasn't released in English so the translations on jb2448 turned out to be unofficial. Looks like we'll have to move them back to their Japanese name(s). PattyMan 13:58, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
{{inuse}}
If there is an inuse template on a page, do not edit. Your adding Noivern to the GoogleDex ruined another user's large edit by causing an edit conflict. Instead, wait until the notice is removed, so you won't ruin another user's large edit. Thank you. Berrenta (talk) 08:02, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
- Shoot, I didn't see the template until I added Noivern. That was a one-time thing I did anyway, but I'll be more careful in the future. PattyMan 15:04, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
Daz/Dolan
While I initially also went ahead changing Daz into Dolan, Senior Admin G50 has now specifically told me we can't trust Pokémon.com as a source for dub names anymore. So do not change it elsewhere, I'll go ahead and change back everything. Thanks and happy editing! ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 01:51, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder. However, there has been several conflicts regarding the dub name situation that the site is reliable such as this and it isn't such as what happened with Natasha/Nanette so I believe someone should write it down as part of the anime policy before they continue and more users get thrown off. PattyMan 02:03, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
Moving pages due to a character sharing a name with a Japanese character
If the English name of a character clashes with the Japanese name of a non-major character, that existing character page should not be moved. You moved Randy (anime) to Randy (Hoenn) because of a character in the XY anime with the Japanese name Randy. (While it was a while ago, I only just noticed it.) It just adds more unnecessary work to move all the pages back afterwards if the English name isn't the same as the Japanese name, so please don't do this in future. --SnorlaxMonster 13:13, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
Chapter article question
I've been recently adding kana/kanji to Manga articles, and I've noticed something that you seemed to do when creating alot of those articles that I don;t quite understand. Why is it that in the title_en
parameter of the {{Chapterinfobox}}
template, the single exclamation points in the titles are surrounded by nowiki tags? I can't see any real purpose... Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 21:26, 4/14/2014 (UTC)
- When I left the exclamation points w/o the nowiki tags, they caused the template to add an extra column. PattyMan 23:53, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
Thank You
With PMRS35, I had figured that one kana was a む, but I just wasn't sure. Also, I can't figure out what the second to last one on PMRS46 is..... Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 18:16, 4/20/2014 (UTC)
- Not a problem for PMRS35. As for PMRS46, the て was the closest match for the second to last kana. PattyMan 21:33, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- It was actually こ instead of て. PattyMan 21:35, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Hoenn anime edits
Uh, why are you turning a bunch of Trainer Pokémon links into redirects? At least leave some explanation if you do. --TheVeryBest 04:15, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
- The Trainer's Pokémon are supposed to be linked to the form they were in at the time, not the current form. This is also shown here. PattyMan 15:39, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
Corsola Water Gun.png
I saw that you added a picture of Corsola "using" Water Gun in XY022. But I think it is Brine, a move that Corsola can learn and they do look similiar. One can wonder that its Water Gun because Clauncher used the same move, but did we even heard Lauden command Clauncher to use Water Gun? I don't remember, can you check. If he didn't, that might as well be the move Brine.--Omojuzeforever (talk) 16:14, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
- I only added the pic, which I got from filb, because of the information that was given to me. I didn't add the information about Corsola using Water Gun itself. So, I may not be sure if it's either Water Gun or Brine. PattyMan 22:00, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Re: Sinnoh Gym
Sorry for the late reply. I do not have access to the DP chapters, so I'm not really sure. -Pokeant (talk) 11:55, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
- Summary of the chapter: Ever since the Goldenrod Department store opens, the shops in the Underground is suffering a loss. The owners have no choice but to steal from the Goldenrod Department Store to sell in the underground, while wearing masks. the masks just happen to be the masks of red, Pikachu, clefairy and togepi. hence red and his pokemon are being accused of stealing from the department store instead. the feraligatr belongs to the underground store owners who battle red for knowing their secret. in the end, clefairy helps them to reconstruct the underground into a fancy shopping street, but there is only 1 fragile looking pillar to support the department store above. clefairy lean on the pillar and broke it, destroying both the department store and the underground. -Pokeant (talk) 01:58, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
Massive edits
Before making any gigantic edits, like the ones you made regarding Double-Edge and its level-up and breeding lists, you need to get the approval of a staff member. You've been here for almost four years, and should know this by now. You have been blocked for three days to allow you some time to relax, and come back to Bulbapedia with a clear head. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 20:29, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
Links
Could you please give a source of a statement for this edit summary? I'm just curious, since I'm not familiar with that rule (and as such I'm not going to undo it, because you could be right). Personally, it makes more sense to me to do [[Jessie's Arbok|Jessie's Ekans]] for example, because [[Jessie's Ekans]] links to a redirect (since the page is called Jessie's Arbok, not Jessie's Ekans). In any case, I've asked a higher-up admin about it, but they have yet to answer. I thought it were handy to ask you as well, since you might know an exact statement from someone who said it needs to be done like that. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 19:31, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
- You can find it here and a whole bunch of move pages such as Flamethrower since they showed you about linking the Pokémon to the form they were at the time. PattyMan 22:55, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
- I see. You learn new things every day. Let's have it stay that way then. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 23:35, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Pocket Monsters XY
Conkeldurr is only missing in XY01. Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie first debuts in XY01. They are later shown in Red's party from PMXY10 onwards. No capturing of the starters is shown, so most likely he befriend them, but I am not sure if he does it in XY01 since I do not know Japanese. The author seems to treat the starters as main characters, as they are given their own section in the characters page. we might need to create page for them when we get more info. -Pokeant (talk) 03:18, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- Went ahead and added them in the section without putting in too much. PattyMan 04:57, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Archives
Can you take care of the Kanga and Li'l Kanga picture updates on the archives? -Tyler53841 (talk) 23:04, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
M17 cast list
It's directly from the CN airing's credit roll, which is ordered by appearance. Caitlin Glass is credited over everyone but Ikue Ohtani, because the first character to appear after Pikachu in the opening is Diancie, and we have confirmation that Brittney Hamilton is Millis. The rest of the list can be easily confirmed from that - the main characters appear below Diancie (which has never happened before in a movie credit roll) and Argus and Millis are grouped together because they debut in the same scene together. --The Great Butler (talk) 03:23, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking care of the voice actors for the movies. I was only able to find Diancie's and Millis's on my own via facebook, and some of the others were posted on sites where anybody can edit them. I believe the other two Carbink's nicknames have been revealed spelling wise in the credits. PattyMan 03:41, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- Gladly. And I know for sure that the other two Carbink were named in the dub of the short, but they were not named in the movie itself unless it was in one of the scenes that was cut. I assume the only way to figure those out will be to contact Tom Wayland. --The Great Butler (talk) 03:49, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
Y's Fletchling
Just confirmed through the third chapter that it's English nickname is Fletchy. Can you update the archives when you have the chance? -Tyler53841 (talk) 23:43, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
Signature and Template:Ani
Hello, Pattyman. I wanted to know if any user could remove the ani template from old signature based on a recent edit you did. Either way, here is the WhatLinksHere page if you would like to weed them out one day. Respectfully, --Super goku (talk) 03:13, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
- I believe they could in just the signatures since they can't have images in them. PattyMan 03:51, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Hello, Pattyman. Thanks for editing the page I made on Dunsparce! Could you help me with quotes however? BowserBrowser (talk) 20:10, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Request
Hey Pattyman, could you look over this page and see if there are any edits needed to be made? Also, it'd be great if we have an image up for this round. Thanks in advance! I'm deliberately making it red link so that if/when it gets moved or deleted, then this page doesn't need to be edited again. ht14 04:48, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
- Sure thing ht14. Everything seems to be good for your page. The prologue chapter might need moving if the numbering system for PAORAS is two digits instead of one. The Latis, I'm guessing they're the same ones from the Emerald chapter and Steven's Iron is from the HGSS games. PattyMan 05:08, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Minor issue
On Y's page for Pokémon Adventures it looks like her Fletchy has evolved, but a Fletchinder picture has not been added yet. Just wanted to inform you of this. -Tyler53841 (talk) 01:19, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- I haven't had any luck yet finding an image of Fletchy as a Fletchinder, but do thanks for pointing that out. PattyMan 02:03, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, take your time on that one. At least today Viz's Black and White mini-volumes came to an end and I was able to help get the english translations for the remaining titles and update the chapter pages to finish the coverage for the mini-volumes. -Tyler53841 (talk) 02:11, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
Nuzzle mistake in XY061
Didn't they say in A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship! that Nuzzle always inflicts paralysis to the target? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 01:24, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly, Clemont mentioned that Nuzzle paralyzes the opponent. He didn't say anything about it always happening. The anime had a tendency of making up their own move effects than the ones in the games, the Hyper Beam variations for example as the user doesn't recharge sometimes. I was confused about this at first because of the inconsistencies that occurred. PattyMan 01:34, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. I guess that explains why Dedenne's Nuzzle cured Pancham's confusion when it should have paralyzed it in One for the Goomy!. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 02:43, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Page Creation
Hello! I've recently been auto-confirmed, and I was wondering if you'd advise me about creating pages. You see, I'd like to create a shipping page, but I'm not really sure how...? Oh, and uploading pictures too.-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 00:23, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- To create pages, I would recommend focusing on the ones in the Wanted pages and put in content that you are familiar with. If the article isn't satisfied to your liking, you can place the incomplete tag on there. As for the shipping pages, ArcToraphim knows way more about them than me since I barely get involved with the shipping pages. Uploading images requires an account on the Bulbagarden Archives as it takes place there instead of on the Bulbapedia side. Hopefully, this helps. PattyMan 00:39, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

I dunno who voiced Clemont's Luxio in the English version. If its not Sarah who is? It's gotta be either Tom Wayland or someone else. How about this one?--JasonL 03:03, 8 March 2015 (UTC) JasonL (Talk)
White (Adventures)
Just confirmed after getting Volume 48 (Volume 6 in the Viz numbers) that the english name of White's Deerling is Darlene. Could you take care of the picture related stuff? -Tyler53841 (talk) 02:11, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- Took care of it. Darling must be the CY nickname then. PattyMan 02:36, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- We'll see, I did check my mini-volumes just in case and no nickname was listed. -Tyler53841 (talk) 03:07, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- CY? That makes no sense. Volume 47 just came out last month in Singapore. It was listed as Darling long before CY, er, Shogakukan Asia, even started BW. Ataro (talk) 11:02, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- I already have doubts if the Darling nickname is going to be true Ataro since it felt like a random assumption to me when I first saw it. -Tyler53841 (talk) 13:21, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Hey there, I have a question. Would it be fine if you uploaded a picture of the Malamar and Inkay Clemont and James temporarily used in Facing the Grand Design! episode? Because I have been having major difficulties upload one on the archives page. Seabiscuit2020 01:45 07, April 2015(UTC)
Re: Dragonair
Based on chuangyi's translation, dragonair only uses dragon rage in 1 panel. -Pokeant (talk) 15:05, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
An
Yup, Abcboy actually posted on my talk page about that. Until then, I didn't even know it existed. I'm relinking all links to White Ruins (moved to White Ruins obviously) and was about to mass-link in long form, so I'm actually glad that was pointed that out so I don't create a mess. I know on Wikipedia it's often done in long form (hence how I tend to know how to do that) because they don't have such templates; maybe in the case of things like music albums and such, where (album) is appended, they should adopt that concept. =D CycloneGU (talk) 01:28, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
- I just saw Abcboy's post which happened a minute before my edit summary which was coincidental since both occurred nearly at the same time. I took care of the links in the Archives, feel free to check if I missed anything. Having to transition from one thing to another does takes practice. PattyMan 01:55, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Thoughts?
Here's what I am doing with the area shots. Before I do the others, what are your thoughts? I think listing Pokémon here (not at Archives, of course) is a nice touch. Feel free to edit if you want to suggest something. CycloneGU (talk) 18:56, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- It looks fine to me. The screenshot you gave me though, I didn't see a Machoke or Beheeyem in it as the bosses. PattyMan 19:44, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- The order I listed is from 12 o'clock, which I'll do in each case (I did that with Legend Terrain's Pokémon at your Archives page, too, to indicate Gallade behind the sign). Ivysaur, at 9, is from Old-Growth Woods, Beheeyem is over at 3 from Super Gene Laboratorium. Between them on the bottom are Gorebyss (Secret Cove) and Ninetales (Secluded Volcanic Chasm). That leaves two on top, the left one being Golduck (from Waterfall Basin). The only area not represented is Super-Aura Test Lab, which is where Machoke resides as the 0 star boss (there are no stars on the location in that picture), which I've listed in the table from my research. I'll always list from 12 o'clock and clockwise on in the captions, as well, so I'll be identifying them in order each time. CycloneGU (talk) 19:54, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Froakie/Frogadier
Regarding this.
Linking to Ash's Froakie redirects to Ash's Frogadier. I've seen similar links in other episode articles and narration. Why would we link to a redirect that goes to the same location anyway? Wouldn't it be less stress on the server to just link to the existing page? CycloneGU (talk) 03:48, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
- Linking to the current Pokémon's page are considered spoilers for the episodes which is why the redirect is linked instead unless it's at a Trainer's own template. Manual of style also points it out. PattyMan 04:01, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Florges pictures
Can you upload pictures of the Blue Flower Florges being temporarily used by Ash while rescuing the Pokémon and Florges using Solar Beam, please? Seabiscuit2020 04:27 14, May 2015(UTC)
- I got the image of Florges being temporarily used by Ash but I was unable to find a good image of her using Solar Beam. Probably when the dub airs, a good image will come. PattyMan 04:56, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation pages
Can you show me how to make disambiguation pages. I need them for the Wooper and Florges pages. Seabiscuit2020 00:43 15, May 2015(UTC)
- You type out {{disambigPokémon|name of Pokémon}}, list of Pokémon (at least 2 or more) with their articles, then end it with a disambig tag. Hope this helps. PattyMan 00:51, 15 May 2015 (UTC)
- It does help, but where do I start to make the pages? Seabiscuit2020 01:02 15, May 2015(UTC)
Picture upload
Recently I noticed that the cover for the english release of Vol. 3 of the Pokémon XY mini-volumes of the manga has been revealed online and could you help me by uploading it and posting it on the List of Pokémon XY volumes page. As for Vol. 3, once you can help me with that picture, I will personally create that page myself so that way when it is released it will make it easier to upload the english version titles to it. -Tyler53841 (talk) 20:36, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- I got the image uploaded. PattyMan 22:22, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, at least this takes care of business for now until the release date. -Tyler53841 (talk) 23:09, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Asking
Could you show me how you make an article for your name and Character's Pokémon?--Jay 21 (Talk) 21:18, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- You type in User:(Your user name)/Character's name_Pokémon's name on the address bar or search bar. Then it will ask you if you want to create the page and say yes. PattyMan 22:07, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
Minor help with something
A new user sent me a message about uploading pictures. Since this is something you are better at, could you help respond to that message? -Tyler53841 (talk) 03:58, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Wow
How long does it take these things to change? Almost better just putting up a new image if not for the infobox requirements... CycloneGU (talk) 14:56, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- I have no idea the exact time since it usually varies.
Strangely though, the new version showed up on my mobile device whereas the older version showed up on my computer.Actually, I just got it to show up on my computer. PattyMan 22:44, 5 June 2015 (UTC)- Just purged. Serena is still there. CycloneGU (talk) 22:49, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- I did constant refreshes until it showed, that might help. PattyMan 23:11, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Nope, refreshed 50 times. I'm starting to see the old image as a troll that is trying to pester me. LOL
- Interestingly, when I load Explorer (shudder), the old image loads there, too. And it should have no history there.
- Maybe I have to manually delete all the temp images in my history...ugh... CycloneGU (talk) 23:40, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- BTW, the old image at Serena's Braixen is still there on my screen. I think there's something wrong (could be my end though). CycloneGU (talk) 20:05, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- And now I try changing the size, and what happens? It updates the image to the new image, but at size 251, the old image is maintained. I cleared my cache to 0 and returned to the page. The old image is STILL there.
- It seems I can never see the new image unless the image size is in fact edited. CycloneGU (talk) 20:15, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- BTW, the old image at Serena's Braixen is still there on my screen. I think there's something wrong (could be my end though). CycloneGU (talk) 20:05, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- I did constant refreshes until it showed, that might help. PattyMan 23:11, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Just purged. Serena is still there. CycloneGU (talk) 22:49, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Gender
Dr. Anna's Zubat Mimi was already confirmed for being a female in appearance by wearing a ribbon and in name. Brock's imagination had Mimi and his pre-evolved Zubat in a wedding dress (Mimi) and a (pre-evolved Zubat) tuxedo, which also represented Anna and himself. He even had Pikachu, who's gender wasn't exactly classified to most people until the DP era came, wear a bow tie to classify his gender, Togepi too.
Even without being said, I think it's pretty clear that Brock's Crobat is male.-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 22:44, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yes but Crobat could be a female in disguise, acting like a male. Clothing doesn't really determine gender either for the case with Brock's Zubat since it could be cross-dressing. PattyMan 23:06, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- I guess so, but clothing aside it's stated in the Japanese dub of DP149 by Brock that genders of the same cannot be attracted (like in the games) to each other without unusual force, the episode and the move attract in general signify this greatly. Since Brock is a breeder and is pretty knowledgeable, doesn't it still count for Mimi and pre-evolved Zubat's interaction?-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 23:28, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Can you please move those two Mega Charizards to not have the dash? I had saved with the dash and forgot to remove it from those before uploading. Going to remove it from a bunch after I finish getting starters up, then resume from Caterpie. CycloneGU (talk) 19:04, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- Apparently, the second uploads took care of the job for me. Apparently, some of them have gender differences so the ones that have a completely different appearance such as the Heracross and Frillish sprites may be useful for uploading. PattyMan 23:47, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

Question
Hello. I have just made a new account 「ANMZK」.
Now, I have a question. I wonder how I can make User page. I want you to tell me how.
Because I'm a Japanese, English may be mistaking, but please tell me.
--ANMZK (talk) 02:55, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
- You'll have to make some edits on the mainspace to have a chance to create a userspace. The amount is unknown to be exact. Oh good, hopefully you can fix some of the Japanese stuff as mainspace edits to get started (i.e. manga only released in Japan) seeing that it's your language. PattyMan 03:13, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

Just a reminder, Scottie was changed to Sawyer. So is it okay if the page was moved for Sawyer's Grovyle?--Jay 21 (Talk) 13:55, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
Pokémon Adventures 51

Bunnelby's ability
Someone on http://es.pokemon.wikia.com confirmed Bunnelby's ability and upload a picture of it on the wikia. -Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 23:42, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me where you got the info from but I'm not really sure about the reliability of the site since they may get stuff wrong. I took back my reversion and kept it hidden since someone else on the 'pedia may know if Bunnelby used Pickup or not. PattyMan 00:02, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
XY Adventures Vol. 4
Just so you know KeroKero's English name is Croaky. That is the only name update I'll need your help for on the Archives if you get the chance. -Tyler53841 (talk) 21:22, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- I took care of the files and the rest of the changes. PattyMan 22:54, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. Other than that Elec's nickname remains unchanged, which is not too surprising as VIZ did that before. -Tyler53841 (talk) 23:02, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
Oh sorry no good
I thought will be good since its pretty true we seen in the shows --SilverioBOMB (talk) 02:26, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
- I reverted it because it was opinionated and it belonged to the forums, not to mention that Ash pretty much trusts every Pokémon he owns regardless of what they do. PattyMan 02:34, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
I know u are Right
- but Ash shows Fletchinder personality said "it was trust its speed and strength in gym battles."
- The First battle was battling against Moria Talonflame and Trevor Charmelon. those were the only regular battles we seen so far. Ash use Talonflame most gym battles first gym, second gym, third gym, 4th gym, and 6th gym now going to the 7th gym battle shown in pictures. --SilverioBOMB (talk) 05:34, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
Help with image
Hi, i made this cap from Tierno in anime, http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Tierno_full.jpg
but my knowledge in Photoshop is horrible. Can you help me??The shirt came out with three different shades in color. --Hikaru Wazana (talk) 23:29, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
- I blurred the edges using the hand tool of where the problem was on his shirt. It might work as you won't see the three different shades of color anymore. PattyMan 00:03, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
Need some input
VIZ once again changed the English titles for the BW chapters in the volume format. As seen here [1] I had to revert my edit for the moment due to the fact that in between True Friends both chapters now share the same english title (Something Suspicious). -Tyler53841 (talk) 02:26, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- If you want, you could add as Trivia on their individual pages that X chapter used to be Y chapter, or something like that. PattyMan 02:51, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I checked this and the previous regular volume and confirmed it so it is not really just a mini-volume issue in that regard. A bigger quest in the last and next chapter button for PS518. -Tyler53841 (talk) 02:55, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. PattyMan 03:03, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- On that matter I should be a able to jury rig the tt template to display a message and not hurt the main template in general for that chapter. Got any good ideas for PS518 (I tested that myself with no problems). -Tyler53841 (talk) 03:08, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- I liked the idea you gave me. I don't see any problems with it. PattyMan 03:22, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Blasty
I believe that Blasty used Bubble in its debut. It shot bubbles at Red and the Pokédex later confirmed its known moves, with one of them being Bubble.--Rahl (talk) 04:51, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

Nando's Kricketune's gender
I wish to ask why my edits regarding Nando's Kricketune's gender (female) were reverted. After all, the edits were done after close inspection of Kricketune's gender differences. Even Clemont's Luxray is declared male based on his gender differences, then why not Kricketune? Harryghost (talk) 18:19, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
- Clemont's Luxray was a Shinx first and the Shinx species have clear cut gender differences that the animators can't screw up upon which was why Luxray was confirmed male and all the other ones got confirmed too. Kricketune's gender is only determined by its mustache size and its difficult to pin point since the animators may make errors (making it too long in one scene and then short in another scene). If someone in the anime stated Kricketune's gender as female or a male Pokémon used a gender-based move or Ability on it, then Kricketune is a girl. PattyMan 19:43, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Question for you...
Hello Pattyman,
I was just wondering, why did you change the picture of Ash's Talonflame? In the original picture, Talonflame looks strong, vibrant, and in the new picture, he just looks goofy, if that makes any sense. I know in the description of the edit, you put that you didn't want any people in the background, but the picture of Ash's Greninja has people in the background, and if they are really tiny (like they were) and the main focus is obviously the subject (in this case, Talonflame), I guess what I am saying is that I just do not understand what the problem was with the old picture, and why the new one is better, so if you could help me to understand why, I would appreciate it. Thanks. --ジェダイナイトディーティーブイ 06:41, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
- All of the pictures of Ash's Pokémon aren't supposed to have anyone else in the background unless it was the only good shot available for them. The Greninja one had people in the background because Frogadier just evolved last week whereas Fletchinder evolved into Talonflame back in August. Other users have stated in the past that they wanted images solo (i.e.: Serena's Braixen; not to mention a fiasco occured on that page because of said issue). PattyMan 22:31, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Pokémon.com
I know that Pokémon.com isn't a valid source for dub names, but since even Playerking95 was doing it even though he had already been told about the Nini thing, and above the blurb, it was referring to the entire season on the image that Upratik 12 provided, when I came on this morning, I didn't know whether to keep changing all instances of "Puni-chan" to Squishy or to revert it back to "Puni-chan." - PokémonGamer* 02:32, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- I wasn't too sure either since it wasn't really my call for the wide spread edits which was why I told someone on what was going on first. I knew that the edits of Puni-chan to Squishy shouldn't have been made in the first place which was why I didn't bother changing them. Coincidentally, Nini's page had the same issue regarding the moving during the pre-dubbed episode with the redirect being tagged for deletion until a bureaucrat took care of it both times. Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea
Hey Pattman!
A pretty random question but I was recently watching M09 and I noticed that you were the one who mainly added the Pokémon to each of the pages of Ship, Lizabeth, Meredith and Kyle (M09). I was wondering how you knew which Pokémon were owned by which person (was there some official character bio?).
Who owned which Pokémon wasn't too obvious when I was watching the movie. Furthermore, the image doesn't seem to correlate with the owner. For example, in Ship's page it shows he owns a Seaking. But the person in the person who is performing with Seaking is actually Kyle (Ship doesn't perform), which makes me think it is actually Kyle's Seaking. Also, Dewgong is apparently owned by Kyle, but the person performing with it is actually Meredith (in the image). In fact, Lizabeth is also shown riding on Dewgong at one point, so it could be either Meredith's or Lizabeth's Dewgong.
I just wanted to know your thoughts on this. --Wowy(토크) 07:33, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
- This was years ago when that happened near the time I was new to the site. I didn't add the Pokémon on the pages actually as they were the border templates, but I only converted the border templates to the
{{TrainerPoké}}
ones as they needed converting. PattyMan 16:02, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
Quick Question
It's been about a month, but I didn't notice until during the SM edit lock, but now that it's been lifted, I just wanted to ask, why did you remove Kirlia and Latias from Tina's signature on my user-page? It's not a problem or anything, it just struck me as kind of strange.--Gou (talk) 16:52, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- I think you meant talk page as the image removal occurred on your talk page. Anyway, I did so as images weren't allowed to be on signatures according to the Signature policy. Cheers. PattyMan 23:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
