Aurora Veil (Japanese: オーロラベール Aurora Veil) is a non-damaging Ice-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is TM70 in Generation VII.

Effect

	This move effect may be in need of research. Reason: How much is damage reduced? Does it reduce damage from moves that deal direct damage? Basically, is it a combined Reflect/Light Screen? Does the reduction stack with the reduction from Reflect/Light Screen? You can discuss this on the talk page.

Aurora Veil reduces the damage done to the user and allies by physical and special moves for five turns. It can only be used during hail, but the effect remains even after the hail ends. Cloud Nine and Air Lock will cause Aurora Veil to fail even if it is hailing. The damage reduction stacks with the effects of Reflect and Light Screen.

Pokémon with the Ability Infiltrator will ignore the effects of Aurora Veil when attacking.

Aurora Veil will disappear immediately if an opponent uses Defog, Brick Break, or Psychic Fangs.

If a Light Clay is held when Aurora Veil is used, it will extend the duration of Aurora Veil from 5 to 8 turns.

If powered up by an Icium Z into Z-Aurora Veil, the user's Speed stat rises by one stage.
