This move effect may be in need of research. Reason: If its highest stat is already at +6, will Beast Boost increase a different stat? If it does not in general, does it do so during a tie? Does Beast Boost consider stats changed by Power Trick, Power Swap, Guard Swap, or Speed Swap? You can discuss this on the talk page. |

In battle
When a Pokémon with Beast Boost causes another Pokémon (including allies) to faint through direct damage, its highest stat (other than HP) rises by one stage.
Determining the highest stat does not take into account any modifiers caused by status conditions, items, or moves; however, it does consider stats changed via Power Split and Guard Split. In the case of a tie, it increases one stat, prioritized in this order: Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed.
Outside of battle
Beast Boost has no effect outside of battle.
