| Saturn reappeared in [[Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles]], leading Team Galactic in an attempt to bring back Cyrus. As the first step of the operation, he successfully {{pkmn2|caught}} a {{p|Heatran}} in order to power a device meant to open a gate to the world that Cyrus had disappeared into. The operation, however, experienced a setback when the energy cannon exploded and Heatran went on a rampage. Saturn and the other Commanders later faced Ash and his friends in order to stop them from interfering with them, but they were ultimately defeated and captured by {{an|Cynthia}} and later arrested by [[Officer Jenny]], ending their plan in a failure.

This triggered its Flash Fire Ability and sent it on a rampage, melting its own Dusk Ball and swallowing the Flame Plate.
