The Sunlit Cavern (Japanese: だまりの大空洞 Great Sunlit Hollow) is a type of hideaway seen in the Grand Underground. It can only be accessed after the player obtains the Explorer Kit in Eterna City from the Underground Man, and features Pokemon that roam the cave freely, instead of being found in Tall grass.

Geography

The Sunlit Cavern takes the appearance of a large, underground forest, with a big tree located somewhere near the center. Many fallen logs are larger than the player, and must be navigated around.
