Flower Shield (Japanese: フラワーガード Flower Guard) is a non-damaging Fairy-type move introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
Generation VI to VIII
Flower Shield raises the Defense stat of all Grass-type Pokémon on the field by one stage, except those that are in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Fly or Dig. Flower Shield fails if there are no eligible Grass-type Pokémon.
If powered up by a Fairium Z into Z-Flower Shield, the user's Defense stat rises by one stage.
Generation IX onwards
Flower Shield cannot be selected in a battle.
