Description	This Tower Tycoon awaits challengers at the Battle Tower in Sinnoh and is also Barry’s father. He is highly skilled and is respected by the other Frontier Brains.

Palmer (Japanese: クロツグ Kurotsugu) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Regigigas, which is capable of Dynamaxing. This pair was first made available through a Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on September 16, 2023. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

Trivia

• Palmer is the last Trainer presented in the Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer to be added into Pokémon Masters EX, four years after the game's release (though he is not the last to become playable, as Cilan, Chili, and Cress remain unplayable).
• Palmer and Regigigas's buddy move G Giga Impact likely references Regigigas's ability Slow Start, as it requires Regigigas to move 5 times before being able to be used, similar to how Slow Start requires 5 turns to pass for Regigigas's stats to return to normal in the core series games.

Origin

Palmer's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver. Regigigas is a Pokémon Palmer uses on his team during the 49th consecutive Battle Tower battle in the core series games. Regigigas's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Platinum.
