Wring Out (Japanese: しぼりとる Wring Out) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Wring Out deals damage. Its power varies between 1 and 121, and is greater the more HP the target has:

Wring Out's power is now calculated as
However, its power cannot be less than 1. Consequently, its power now varies between 1 and 120.
Generation VIII onwards
Wring Out cannot be selected in a battle.

Wring Out deals damage. Its power is increased the higher the enemy's HP. In the Explorers series, Wring Out's final damage is multiplied by ½ if the enemy's HP is at 75-51%, 51/256 (~0.2×) when at 50-26% and 25/256 (~0.1×) when at 25% or lower.
