Legends say that he, along with his ten companions, soon started to seek out all of {{ga|Arceus}}'s [[Plate]]s to meet the deity himself. The ancient hero (Japanese: 古代の英雄 Ancient Hero) is a character from the backstory of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The ancient hero lived as part of the Celestica people prior to the events of the game, taking place in the history of the Hisui region.

Legends say that he, along with his ten companions, sought out all of Arceus's Plates in order to meet the Pokémon itself. After finding them, he managed to defeat Arceus in battle, earning the being's respect.
