Rolling Kick (Japanese: まわしげり Roundhouse Kick) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation VII, it was the signature move of Hitmonlee and Hitmontop, but other Pokémon could still inherit it via breeding.
Effect
Generations I and II
Rolling Kick does damage and has a 30% chance of causing the target to flinch.
Rolling Kick cannot make a target with a substitute flinch.
Generations III and IV
Rolling Kick is now affected by King's Rock.
Generation V to VII
Rolling Kick is no longer affected by King's Rock.
Generation VIII onwards
Rolling Kick cannot be selected in a battle.
