"Handsome" is the codename for a character introduced in Pokémon Platinum. He was first introduced in a leaked issue of CoroCoro.
He is a police officer trying to spy on and pursue Team Galactic and their plans. "Handsome" seems to be a protagonist, occasionally meeting up with the player sometimes. Though, in another issue of CoroCoro, it has been hinted that "Handsome" is really a member of Team Galactic, but this may just be a rumor. Handsome can be seen talking with the player in many locations including Jubilife City and the Valley Windworks.
A trainer sprite was made for "Handsome", this might suggest that he will be seen in battle as an opponent.
