Basically I see no reason for this template to exist. It just riles people up and makes them believe that something is going to happen and then it doesn't. Recommendation of deletion
You claim that you protect the page so that people will not insert rumors. Well doesn't this template do just that? I mean, you won't let users insert that a Pokémon will be evolving in an article so you protect it. Then you completely contradict your purpose and put this banner at the top that only fuels rumors and speculation. I mean with Ash's Chimchar you left this up there even though it was confirmed that it wouldn't be evolving.
