(Japanese: エアバトルマスター登場!グライオンVSハッサム!! The Air Battle Master Enters! Glion vs. Hassam!!) is the 154th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 620th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on December 3, 2009.
Synopsis
While on the way to Asatsuki Town, Ash and friends meet a gentleman who claims to be the master of air battles. Hoping to improve his Gliscor's flying, Ash decides to have a battle with him, and the results may be more than he expected...
As the battle starts, Scizor and Gliscor head into the air. Scizor starts of with a Steel Wing, which Gliscor counters with X - Scissor. The battle then continues with both trainers shouting out many commands. Gliscor, on the brink of defeat, learns Giga Impact! It uses it to heavily damage Scizor, but it is able to take the hit. Gliscor, now recharging, is defeat by Scizor.
After the battle, Ash, knowing that Gliscor will be able to reach its full potential with Mitsuzō, and decides to leave him there for training. Both exchange final words, with Gliscor almost crying, but then Ash leaves.
