Trivia
Origin
Shieldon is based on a Ceratopian dinosaur. Its lack of horns makes it particularly similar to a Protoceratops.
Name origin
Shieldon's name is derived from "shield" refering to the shield-like growth on its head, and don which is a suffix in various dinosaur names. Tatetops' name comes from the words 盾 (tate which means sheild) and -ceratops, wich is a suffix that's used in the names of horned dinosaurs, such as the Triceratops.
