We get free edits because we use our pages for potential policies, tentative templates, and may-be mainspace pages. And some user crap. We tend to keep the user crap to a minimum, though there are some leftovers.

I know you told me not to use the autoblock...

However, a persistent Grawp vandal had come on and started vandalizing. I blocked one account with autoblock disabled as you instructed. A sockpuppet was created, and I knew that I had to take a gamble on the autoblock. If it stops this vandal wave, as far as I'm concerned, the pros outweigh the cons in this situation. Yes, I know. As far as I know, though, exploiting the autoblock problems may have been the only way to stop what could have been a vandal epidemic. We all know Grawp is a very notorious wiki vandal, and if I hadn't decied to try to exploit the autoblock problems, we could have ended up with sockpuppet after sockpuppet doing nothing but vandalize, resulting in far worse headaches than the autoblock problems. --Shiningpikablu252 18:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Archives Login Error

Hi, I need to get into the archives to load up some photos for some articles that don't have photos and I keep getting this error: "Login error There is no user by the name "MasterKenobi". Help

Ketsuban banned me forever on the forums because he doesnt like me. When I go to Login it says, you have been banned reason "Bye!!!" date ban will be lifted "Never" And I got an email from him saying he's given me 1000 non-expiring infraction points. Please help me, can you do something, he swears at me on Aim, and now he's doing all this to me. 1000 points is just crazy, I apologised for everything, Kasumi said she forgave me, then 2 days later hes banned me. I would just like to point out that, under Current Events on the Home Page, Where it says that the 142nd Episode of D/P is coming out featuring Togepi. Togepi, however, is misspelled "Togepy", and if you could alter that, thank you.

TTE's gone, so I think that you're the right person to report that. See what one of your your trusted admins does! Using banned users as scapegoats is like the most pathetic thing that an admin can do. If normal user did it, he'd be permabanned for that. And I'm not questioning anyone's authority. Just reporting the thing that bothered me. And I realize that it's pretty old (I just returned from holidays). It's the image that was offensive. It said "Kuki is a stupid hotlinker with pregnancy fetish" or something like that (there was more, I don't recall everything and it was uploaded by Ketsuban. So, you say that it was RIGHT that Ketsuban discouraged Kuki like that? Of course, he's a hotlinker and that is wrong but it is still OFFENSIVE and hence UNACCEPTABLE. Aren't we in Bulbapedia supposed to play nice? The rule should apply to admins as well. And it certainly wasn't nice. Ketsuban did something that a normal user would get permabanned for, yet you're PRAISING her. It's completely unfair. Regardless of whether I like the current law or not, Ketsuban broke it. I see it as a reason to question her fitness to be an admin. There are different ways to prevent hotlinking, the one that Ket chose was simply offensive. And no, I am not defending Kuki. I'm just saying that offending ANY user (even a banned one) is wrong. This method of discourage hotlinking is simply unacceptable (even in my CoCless Bulbapedia ideal offensive pictures are strictly prohibited) and should not be practiced. --Maxim 20:16, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Ket already committed enough crimes (on the forums, of course, she barely does anything on the Pedia) to get permabanned. Indeed, she speaks her mind a lot. And it's something that I usually get warned/banned for (because of CoC). She is just as "harsh" as me. The difference is that she's an admin, and hence she's more respected and her offences are often ignored. Nice or not, she abuses her powers strongly and it's an undeniable fact. Maxim, I agree with everything you say in this instance, she also lies to her fellow admins to avoid herself getting into trouble, and there is no reasoning with her, she has no compasion, and I think she does it to satisfy her thirst for power. And all the other admins tell her they trust her 100% and stuff like that, and she then goes and breaks the rules, and no one seems to care and it creates a very much "us and them" situation which contradicts the statement about Bulbagarden being a community. Protected Page Policy

Hi there, I was just wondering about what Bulbapedia's policy is on contributing to Protected Pages. The policy seems to apply to just adding or changing content, but I wanted to expand on Chuck's Pokemon Special section and can't think of a way to suggest it on the Talk page without writing up my proposed paragraph for that section there.
