Synopsis

Mitch is trying to capture a Jigglypuff to give to his daughter for her birthday. Ash and the others try to help capture it but it is super strong, smarter, and tricky which makes it that much more difficult...

Trivia

• The Japanese voices of May's Combusken and Jessie's Dustox are both Rikako Aikawa filling in for Chinami Nishimura.
• The Jigglypuff in this episode has green eyes instead of the usual blue (it shares this trait with Marina's Jigglypuff). This is presumably to differentiate it from the Jigglypuff that stalked the gang throughout the original series.
• This is the final episode where Brock's Forretress is given a dub voice, as Unshō Ishizuka's voice for Forretress was retained once the anime switched to TPCi.
