Now, before you or anyone else tries to use an error in the trivia section to dismiss that blurb I inserted on the page in light of the HeartGold & SoulSilver reprint of the card bearing the name "Moomoo Milk", I've found some visual evidence that the blurb I inserted is, indeed, 100% accurate. Around 8:40 in this DP video (further evidence around 8:53) and around 2:30 in this Plat video (further evidence around 2:50) is enough to prove that the name on the HeartGold & SoulSilver in the reprint was indeed changed to match the video games. (For the record, I went ahead and left the error in trivia for now just in case you decided to revert me out of rage without looking at the visual evidence...) --Shiningpikablu25218:43, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Does one have to be in a high place to use the template?

I noticed that I am on the Top Contributors of the Month list, so I am wondering if one has to be in a certain high position (such as fourth place) there to be able to use the 'this user has been a top contributor of the month' template. The answer is probably no, and possibly merely inclusion there would suffice, but I was wondering. Steph00:17, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Here you go~
Houndoom
かじばのいちげき - Fire Counterattack
If your opponent has any Pokémon in play, this attack does 20 damage plus 60 more damage.
ダークロアー - Dark Roar
Your opponent discards one card from his/her hand.
Weavile
スナッチクロー - Snatch Claw
You can use this power once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand to Evolve one of your Pokémon. Look at your opponent's hand and discard 1 card.
だましうち - Faint Attack
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on that Pokémon.
Rattata
かじる - Gnaw
Raticate
くいこむまえば - Eating Front Teeth (awful translation, but it's the best I can think of... D8)
Does 10 damage for each damage counter on your opponent's battling Pokémon.
かじりこわす - Gnawing Down
Discard one basic energy attached to your opponent's battling Pokémon.
Supporter cards
フラワーショップのお姉さん - Flower Shop Lady
Choose 3 Pokémon and 3 basic energy from your discard pile. Show them to your opponent, then return them to your deck. Then shuffle your deck.
ロケット団の手口 - Team Rocket's Modus Operandi
Draw two cards from your deck. Your opponent then discards one card from his/her hand.
I trust you'll be able to take what I didn't blatantly rip from other TCG pages and make them sound TCG-ish. 8D 梅子❄❅16:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry to have to do splits and overhauls on cards depicting milk without any other warning...
However, it wasn't my whim that caused the splits and overhauls. It was a Team Compendium ruling that forced the overhauls. I didn't want to have to do it, but the ruling states that Moo-Moo Milk and Moomoo Milk are different cards entirely simply because of the slight differences in name and effect. 2 damage counters per heads on Moo-Moo Milk, 3 damage counters per heads on Moomoo Milk, that apparently got Team Compendium to see them as two different cards. As such, it falls into the same situation as Energy Charge as opposed to Power Charge, where we also see them as two different cards due to Team Compendium saying so despite similar effects. I did take care to remove as little information as possible in this split/overhaul...--Shiningpikablu25204:43, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word "opinionated." Here. This might help you out. If you can give me one example of how my article on Goods cards was, and I quote, "opinionated," I'll be happy with simply fixing some factual errors within your rewrite as opposed to reverting back to my initial version. Otherwise, rewriting something for the sake of rewriting something is extremely frowned upon (at least it was when I was more active), especially when there was nothing factually, grammatically, or otherwise wrong Bulbapedia-wise with the article. And frankly, I don't think you have any basis on which to say my article was "opinionated." Additionally, your rewrite contains a couple over-explained sections and factual errors. For example, saying that Goods cards "typically" depict items from the games is erroneous, as only two real sets have been released in Japan, and by my count, around 14 out of the 23 Goods cards that have been released are not based on any item from the game. I definitely wouldn't call less than half "typically." It's not an opinion to say that, name aside, Goods cards are literally exactly the same as Trainer cards. I'm fine with explaining what exactly that means, in as simple a way as possible so as not to confuse the issue, and with saying that Goods cards receive a hint of blue in the word "Goods" and on the side. Unless my eyes are deceiving me, most of the Goods card in front of me is not tinted blue. Lastly, this isn't a big issue, but I'd prefer we refered to the so-called "LEGEND" era as the HeartGold & SoulSilver-on era, as "LEGEND era" is really just terminology someone on PokeBeach or Serebii made up... no one involved in the competitive PTCG actually calls it that. We didn't call DP-on the "LV.X era." It's not a big deal, though... I'm fine with leaving that. So yeah. Think about what I said and think about why you really deleted my article and replaced it with your own draft. --ニョロトノ66619:48, 17 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I chose the word opinionated as a place holder, because I thought it would be less embarrassing to have that instead of "This article is complete shit" in the edit summary/recent changes: which is essentially what your article was. But, now that you brought it out into the open; you obviously want the truth, which I was reluctant to give a 15 year old, just in case you would happen to freak out about it. But I guess you still pissed your pants about it anyway.
I used the word typically, because they are new trainer cards, and trainer cards depict either game items, or items of the like. I was preparing for the future so that we wouldn't have to edit it again to reflect a new percentage of cards. It was a deliberate preparation.
Are you color blind? Because the word "Trainer" on English Goods, and the word "Goods" is obviously blue. You should go see a doctor if you aren't seeing it, because your eyes are in actuality deceiving you.
LEGEND era is the Japanese name of the HGSS era. Since Goods are a Japanese classification of cards, we use Japanese names of eras and sets on pages depicting Japanese exclusive things. You would know that style if you were active. We do use LEGEND era because the Japanese card official site does, not because the beach or serebii do. Have you ever been to pokemon-card.com? I will give you one point for knowing we do not call anything the "LV.X era," but "HeartGold & SoulSilver-on era" is still wrong according to pokemon.com. There is no reason why I--and in extension, we at Bulbapedia--wouldn't be using official names. Why you would support unofficial naming conventions is beyond me.
And for the fact about my "rewrite"? let's look at time stamps. You happen to still be an administrator for now, so I know you can look at deleted revisions. My article and information is about a month before yours, making mine the original and the one you made the rewrite. "[R]ewriting something for the sake of rewriting something is extremely frowned upon" is something I agree with. So why would you do it, when the page you made was so horrifically horrible? It might be possible they're siblings, but for having twin accounts on the same IP, one of them must PM a mod or admin. If they didn't then both accounts belong to the same person, as twin accounts must be validated by an admin for they know the user has a brother/sister who also uses BulbaPedia.

I have uploaded a Hi-Res image of Aura's Lucario from PokePark, and maybe, just maybe, I might get my hands on both PokéPark Sheets. The Forest sheet's cards were never released outside Japan, but the Blue Sheet's card were released in the US. However, all of these scans are either Low-res Japanese or Low-Res POP scans. Listen. It's obvious that Glameow is more Female then Male. So the Idea is whether it is Female or not, it must be Female, as how I saw closely, Glameow was left, and when using attract, it was obvious Pachirisu was in front of Glameow, and was affected. Don't get the idea? Look at this Text-made diagram.
Gl Um
Pa Pi
1; Pa represents Pachirisu.
Pi represents Piplup.
Gl represents Glameow.
Um represents Umbreon.
Both Pa and Gl are on the Left.
Both Pi and Um are on the right.
Gl Um

♥ ♥
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
Pa Pi
2; Gl is hitting PA.
Um is hitting Pi.
Since Um is hitting Pi, who's a male, it would be confirmed that Umbreon is a female.
As for Pa and Gl.
If Glameow is Female, Pachirisu is male.
If Glameow is Male, Pachirisu is female.
Gl Um
♥ ♥

♥

♥ ♥
Pa Pi
3; Even though it looked like Pachirisu was hit by Glameow, Glameow might have hit Piplup, really confirming it to be Female, while Umbreon is unconfirmed.
So, maybe since a lot of Glameows are female, Pachirisu is a male.
There is really no way of telling whose Attract hit who. Your diagram proves nothing. As Ht14 said, speculation.
I noticed your that you argued the fact that Glameow are more likely to be female in the games. But did you take in the fact that Umbreon are more likely to be male? If going by game schematics alone, Glameow is female while Umbreon is male. Now we know that Piplup is male, meaning that Pachirisu would most likely be female. But you said it was male.
Either way, Games =/= Anime. Most of the Delcatty, which is a female dominated species in the games, that have been shown in the anime have been confirmed male. Case in point, "Johnny" and Lila's Delcatty.
Bottom line: All we know is Piplup is male and either Glameow and/or Umbreon are female. Pachirisu can't be determined by that. --ケンジのガール04:05, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
You are right. Umbreon are more male.
Attract works only if the attracter is male and the target is female, as well as female to male.
So, it's possible Glameow hit Piplup who is a male. Then, Glameow is female.
Another method of a Pokemon being more male in the games and there is a female in the anime (or vice versa) is Ash's Bayleef.
When I first played my Pokemon Soul Silver game I got for easter, when I picked a Chikorita, it was male.
But, Ash's Ketchum's Chikorita was female. This shouldn't be necessary as his other confirmed gender starter Pokemon (Charizard, Totodile, Sceptile, and Infernape) were male, was well as his Pikachu being male.
In the starter Pokemon case of this, though, my Piplup I chose for my Pokemon Pearl, which is now an Empoleon, and named Kevin was male.
Dawn's Piplup was also male. This is obvious most of the Piplup is male when it is more male in the games.
so can how come other's like TTE and magnedeth have like their ownn pages like what pokemon I like, or anime teams? hm? totoRulz23:51, 25 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Setlistentry1 template
Latest comment: 14 May 20102 comments2 people in discussion
Been wracking my brains over what to do with this. The template at the moment limits itself to the first two eras of the TCG, and will require several other similar templates for EX, DP, and Japanese-exclusive lists. Putting these templates into the rest of the card lists will also take a long time. I was thinking it would be a lot easier to put the code for the rounded boxes on top of the existing code. This means that the coloured boxes for Trainers/Supporters/Standiums/Goods (which is a nice added touch) will be absent (unless a small template could be made for these?), but will save a lot of time and will have a similar result. Personally, the tables the majority of the lists use I think have a lot more potential freedom, incase there are unusual or unforseen additions. ~~nuva-kal10:07, 14 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I hope you don't mind me replying, Nate, I know your keyboard isn't working atm :(
For one think, Masatoshi, you should never just insert a bunch of line breaks to fix a problem, especially a technical problem. What browser and resolution are you running? This might be a factor, because the two templates should only use 65+33=98% of the page width. —darklordtrom20:57, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Might be a problem of mine, then. I use Google Chrome, and it hurts me to see templates that are messed up :(. I know I shouldn't have added those lines, it's just that it bugged me out to watch the template merged with the infobox, but never thought it would be a browser problem, by the way, my resolution is 1024 x 768, sorry for having rushed to that, I had to do a mistake someday, good thing it was today and for a minor problem. edit: By the way, my first comment looks like I'm being cocky, just to clarify, I was not. 聖人wat21:02, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for that. It looks like Chrome doesn't autowrap templates that are centered on a page. This is something for us to look into. For the time being, you'll have to put up with messy pages. Sorry. —darklordtrom21:42, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
It's okay, I can use Firefox (it was my default browser until got slow and Chrome appeared) in the meanwhile :P. 聖人wat21:52, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Just an update, I've worked in a fix for the "spoiler" tag, so it should work properly now; the issue is with both Chrome and Safari, for future reference (all webkit-based browsers).
None of the other templates have been touched, partly because I don't have the time at the moment, and partly because I don't know which ones exactly need fixing; if any more problems come up, leave a message on my talkpage about it, and I'll see what I can do to fix the issues. --Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^04:24, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just gotta say, I have no idea what "side" is supposed to refer to. I just translated directly, and hopefully you know what the hell it's supposed to mean. D:
Palkia & Dialga LEGEND
サドンデリート Sudden Delete
Return all the cards attached to one of your opponent's benched Pokemon to your opponent's hand.
ときをあやつる Manipulate Time
Discard all Metal Energy attached to this Pokemon, then place two cards from the top of your opponent's deck to your opponent's side.
Rayquaza & Deoxys LEGEND
オゾンクライマックス Ozone Climax
Discard all Fire Energy attached to this Pokemon.
Pokebody: うちゅうウイルス Space Virus
If this Pokemon is knocked out by damage from an attack, when you draw from your side, draw an additional card from the side.
Machamp (Great)
Pokepower: ファイティングタッチ Fighting Touch
Once during your turn when this Pokemon is on the bench, you may attach all Fighting Energy from your active Pokemon onto this Pokemon. If you this, shift this Pokemon with your active POkemon.
クラッシュパンチ Crash Punch/Crush Punch (could be either)
One Special Energy on your opponent's active Pokemon is discarded.
かいりきバスター Strength Buster
Does 100 damage plus the number of damage counters on your benched Pokemon +10.
Celebi (Great)
Pokepower: もりのいぶき Forest's Breath
Once during your turn when this Pokemon is on the battlefield, take one Grass Energy from your hand and attach it to your Pokemon. This Pokepower may not be used if this Pokemon is afflicted with a special condition.
タイムサークル Time Circle
On your opponent's next turn, this Pokemon cannot receive damage from your opponent's stage 1 or stage 2 evolution Pokemon.

Don't freakin' unlock it if you have the ability to. If any TCG news appears, we'll get to it tomorrow. Same experiment we tried with locking BP: if Bulbagarden still crashes, we've not found the problem. TTEchidna22:38, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why did you deleted the Mitsuhiro Arita artwork?
Latest comment: 1 July 20103 comments2 people in discussion
I mean, we have a Midori Harada Artwork and a Kagemaru Himeno Artwork section, Both of these women also work in different media, so does Mitsuhiro Arita. Why was this deleted? TokoyamiTheDark19:05, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Finally, it wasn't on BlubaPedia that I saw a Kamen Rider image on Midori's section, bur rather at a MIRRORED page. What I call a mirrored page is website that has been copied, slightly edited and have an IP adress instead of a regular URL. We barely know anything about it: all we have is a leaked image and such. And your article completely sucked. You didn't even categorize it! Nothing with such poor quality standards should ever stay. It will be done better by someone with more experience. MaverickNate22:34, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Categories wasn't the only problem. Remember when I said we barely have any information about it? Also, the artwork might also be a fake, because the names for Tsutarja and Mijumaru are not the same as what was already revealed. We don't know enough confirmed information about it to make a decent page. MaverickNate22:44, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

War's over about title dispute. I confirmed it from the HGSS Pokédex. If you want a better proof from higher up, you might want to ask DETH. ht1422:39, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
It IS complete, it's the system fault that I can't upload it all at once. Please let people finish their work before you demerit their efforts. Besides, dispute where? Between you and you? Gambler22:47, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Ume and me and cp and psy and deth and jello and sol and werdnae. Demeriting your efforts would have invloved deleting the article. Me removing it from the template meant NOTHING. It's fine now. I'll add it back in MaverickNate22:53, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Unleashed/Undaunted
Latest comment: 5 July 20102 comments2 people in discussion
Why would you consider the Undaunted the English version of Reviving Legends when the Prime, the Legends and the Decks are the same as Unleashed. Cheers. - plau11:30, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
The majority of the cards in Unleashed are not from Reviving Legends AND the majority of Reviving Legends will be in Undaunted. It seemed more appropriate, and it was what we were going to do in the first place before someone else did it otherwise. MaverickNate12:16, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Regarding TCG Revamps
Latest comment: 6 July 20102 comments2 people in discussion
If the card came out in Japan first with no English counterpart (as seen with Bonsly), then what do we write for its debut? Also, I noticed we're getting rid of levels... why is that? ht1402:59, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
It debuts in the Japanese set, so the Japanese set gets named UNLESS that particular card gets translated into English, then, the English set for that particular card is named. And for the levels, they are only there because it was the way the pages were named backed in the era of Happy Mask Man before Pie reformed the naming conventions for the TCG. We deemed it a meaningless piece of information that didn't really belong here anymore. MaverickNate04:22, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

On resizing.. may I get permission to resize older images where I have to re-draw certain things? Many older images have those black bars on each side, and I've been redrawing inside them. I figure asking now would prevent further confusion in the future.--Cubic Question21:35, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
May I append the offical FAQs or rules to each card's page?
Latest comment: 12 July 201015 comments3 people in discussion
I think it would be useful to others. For example:
Solrock L3
Card text
Trivia
Rules
Moving damage counters from 1 Pokemon to another is not blocked by Heal Block.
While Heal Block is in effect, you may use Potion though it does nothing.
Luxray AR
Card text
Trivia
Rules
You must declare whether you would like to discard the Pokémon Tool or not when you use Gadget Bolt. If you would like, the Pokémon Tool is discarded after damage is done. So Gadget Bolt always gets +20 damage from Expert Belt.
If Luxray uses Gadget Bolt to Knock Out Gengar SF and discards Expert Belt, Gengar may use Fainting Spell after Expert Belt is discarded. The Defending Player takes only 1 Prize card if heads.
I would much rather they be on one separate rules page, instead of all scattered on all the card pages. Let me think on this. It sounds like it would be a major implementation, but I am really leaning to pages with them listed, rather than on the card pages. Would you mind making one in your userspace so that I can look at style and such? MaverickNate12:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
My opinion is creating several common pages, such as "Put the Knocked Out Pokemon in the Lost Zone", "Disable Poke-BODY" and "Attack Process". But if a card has a unique effect, it may be better to leave the rules on it's own page. Substy21:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Maybe all of them could be different sections of one rules page? But yes, Pokédex and trivia are needed, as well as the Japanese names. We just haven't been putting dex entry because it is much easier to copy paste right from the official site, which updated yesterday. It would be a great help for me if you could do them. MaverickNate23:03, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually, if you add __NEWSECTIONLINK__ anywhere on the page, then the plus sign will go up at the top of the page. —darklordtrom05:16, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
No trademarked Pokemon names have ever used macrons, so there's absolutely no chance of that being its actual name.
Special characters like ā have a risk of causing issues with the server.
No one will ever search for Chiramii spelled in such a way.
I've looked into it, and "myi" does not seem to be universally accepted by any common romanization standard anyway - and it makes even less sense for Hepburn, which is based on English phonetics. 梅子❀✿21:33, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
When the actual name comes out we'll just use it. If we just use Hepburn we're not imposing our own interpretation on the information.
There's also the issue that if we don't use a spelling that is currently widely used by the fandom, the article won't show up in Google searches. And my point about special characters (such as the macron vowels) is that they have been known to cause issues with the server when used in article titles, so it's important that we try not to use them. Excessive use of redirects is, as I understand it, not preferable either.

Hi Maverick,
I've read the policies why my website page was deleted, as nobody can make pages with stuff they own (Website URLs and other stuff). But, however, I couldn't find the topic about fansites. Can you give me the URL so I can reaad it, please? TokoyamiTheDark17:16, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
It might not be a written policy, but I know that pages over fansites have been deleted for that reason before. It is considered to be promoting your own fansite, which is against the rules. We tend to be strict on fansite pages, and only the most popular, well-known ones tend to stay. Fansite pages aren't supposed to be created by their founders. Perhaps you're not the person to ask, but...
Latest comment: 19 July 20104 comments2 people in discussion
My apologies for asking this, but do you think you can or know of someone else who could give me a username change? I asked TTEchidna before some months ago, back when we had the constant errors so obviously it couldn't be done then, and I would ask him again now but apparently I'm disabled from making new sections on his talk page. I do realize the rules for a name change, that once done I can no longer go back, which I am perfectly fine with.
I'd say what I would like to be called now, but I'm just going to check first if there are any others who might be able to make a name change... Uh, thanks. Mudkipchan01:53, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Any member of the Editorial Board is allowed to make your necessary name changes. However, as I am not technically part of it and wish not to get yelled at later, I would prefer if you could ask someone who actually is a member. Sorry for the inconvenience. Are tou able to connect on PokéBeach? If not, could it be possible that the websites has shut down due to the 'incidents'?
