Template:Infobox town Violet City (Japanese: キキョウシティ Kikyō City) is located in central Johto. Its motto is "The City of Nostalgic Scents."
Pokémon Trainers often come to Violet City in order to win the Zephyrbadge from Falkner, the Violet Gym Leader who specializes in Flying-type Pokémon.
Located in the center of the town is Earl's Pokémon Academy, where prospective trainers learn how to raise Pokémon.
Also in the town is the Sprout Tower, a towering and wobbling pagoda run by Buddhist monks who train Pokémon.
There are three roads leading out of town. West is Route 36, south is Route 32, and east is Route 31.
