Drought (Japanese: ひでり Drought) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Only one Pokémon has this ability.
Effect
In battle
Drought will summon sunlight in battle. Its effects are the same as Sunny Day but, instead of lasting for five turns, it lasts for the whole battle until replaced.
Outside of battle
Drought has no effect outside of battle.

Dual ability
No Pokémon have Drought as one of their two abilities.
In the anime
Groudon. Groudon's body to glows white and it shoots a pillar of white light into the sky. The sky then becomes clear and no clouds can be seen.
- Activated by a wild Groudon in The Scuffle of Legends. Debut.
