In Generation III games, one can enter his or her Pokémon into a Pokémon Contests. There are five different categories of contests. These Contest categories, also called Contest conditions, are Coolness, Beauty, Cuteness, Smartness, and Toughness. Each Pokémon move is catagorized under of one of these five categories. In addition, Berry flavors, Pokéblock colors, and Pokémon natures are associated with certain Contest categories.
