Trivia
Origin
Meloetta appears to be based on the Muses of Greek Mythology, in particular Terpsichore, the Muse of dance and chorus, and possibly Euterpe, the Muse of music and poetry.
Name origin
Her name likely derives from "melody," or song, and "etta", a common suffix in female names.
