(Japanese: ヘヴィメタル Heavy Metal) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Five Pokémon have this ability, which all of them are part of Template:Type2. This ability is exclusively only obtained via Dream World.
Effect
In battle
The Pokémon's weight is doubled of its original when have Heavy Metal as its ability. This is affect by increases user's base power of Heavy Bomber, as well as Low Kick and Grass Knot damage taken from opponent, due these moves are calculate by the target's weight.
Outside of battle
Heavy Metal has no effect outside of battle.
