Trivia
Origin
Dangoro is based on a stone. Its simple rock body with just feet may be a reference to the Kirby series' reoccurring enemy, Rocky.
Dangoro is similar to Geodude: Both are Rock-Type, have their first evolution at level 25 and their final evolution is triggered by trading.
Name origin
Dangoro may be a combination of 団子 dango, a Japanese dumpling; and ゴロ goro, meaning grounder. It may also come from ゴロゴロ goro goro, the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a boulder or a rock rolling.
