A Curmudgeon is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in Pokémon XD. They are depicted as old men wearing glasses, a purple sweater and dark blue pants. There is no pattern to their Pokémon types--rather, they use multi-types like most trainers in Pokemon XD, however, although they have no typing strategy, three of the four Curmudgeons that appear in the games have at least one dark Pokemon.
