Sand-Attack (Japanese: すなかけ Sand Attack) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Sand-Attack decreases the target's Accuracy stat by one stage. Sand-Attack will do nothing if the target's Accuracy stage is at -6, and will fail if the target has a Substitute or is under the effect of Mist.
Sand-Attack is a Template:Type2 move in this generation.
Generation II and on
The effects of Sand-Attack are the same as the previous generation, however it is now a Template:Type2 move. Although it is a Ground-type move, it still affects Template:Type2 Pokémon and those with the ability Levitate.

Trivia
- Sand-Attack is one of the four moves to have its type changed in Generation II, the others being Gust, Bite, and Karate Chop. Coincidentally, they all were Template:Type2 moves in Generation I.
- Despite the fact that its Generation IV description says that Levitate gives full immunity to all Template:Type2 moves, Pokémon with Levitate are affected by Sand-Attack.
