Trivia
- Minccino's English name was revealed on December 27, 2010, along with 7 other Pokémon.
Origin
Minccino is based on a chinchilla. Its tail may be based on feather dusters or brooms, as they use their tails to clean their dens.
Name origin
Minccino may be a portmanteau of mini, referring to its minature size, and chino cloth. It could also come from the term "mint condition", referring to its cleanliness. Chillarmy is derived from chinchilla and charm.
