Wired for Battle! (Japanese: バトルしようぜ!ハッサムVSへラクロス!! Let's Battle! Hassam VS Heracross!!) is the 140th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on March 23, 2000 and in the United States on February 24, 2001.
Synopsis
Template:Incomplete synopsis Ash, Misty, and Brock are walking throught the woods with Team Rocket spying on them. A man named Muramasa finds them. A little while later, the gang stumbles upon Team Rocket, all beaten up and Arbok and Weezing knocked out. Muramasa walks up and a red flash flies over his head. A Scizor appears and begins to attack Pikachu. Pikachu gets hurt and Misty angrily walks up to Muramasa and begins to yell at him. Brock grabs her arms to hold her back. Ash looks Scizor up on his Pokédex and Muramasa offers to show them to his fighting dojo.
As they walk into the dojo, they see a Nidoking and a Scyther fighting. A few people and Pokémon are also lifting weights. As Muramasa walks in, everybody bows to him.

Errors
- Shingo commands his Scizor to finish the match with False Swipe. However, False Swipe cannot cause a Pokémon to faint.
- In Who's That Pokémon?, Cyndaquil appears to only have one arm.
- Team Rocket vocally call out Arbok and Weezing, but Lickitung and Victreebel appear as well.
