:I was coming here to post that very question.  I've seen x3 mentioned in several places -- including the Damage Calculation section of the Damage Modification page -- but this is the only place where I've seen x4.  Thus I'm going to assume that the entry on this page is wrong.  --[[User:Kitsunegami|Kitsunegami]] 21:54, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Instead of having a very slow edit war, why not discuss this?

The Sniper ability is exclusive to the three Water egg groups. Is this notable?

Sounds notable to me. MK 05:29, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
I would say it is somewhat notable. However, there are also only three evolution families involved. If there were more, and the ability were still restricted to the three Water egg groups, it would be much more notable. As it stands, I think it is fine in the trivia section, but not in the main body of the article, where it was for a while. — Laoris (Blah) 05:32, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
I agree, it's trivia at best right now. MK 05:34, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

x4 or x3?

I was coming here to post that very question. I've seen x3 mentioned in several places -- including the Damage Calculation section of the Damage Modification page -- but this is the only place where I've seen x4. Thus I'm going to assume that the entry on this page is wrong. --Kitsunegami 21:54, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
