(Japanese: シューティーのジャノビー Shooti's Janovy) is Shooti's very first Pokémon. He obtained it from Professor Juniper as a Snivy in the first episode of the Best Wishes series and was shown to have evolved to a Janovy prior to BW005.

As a Snivy

Janovy was first introduced as a Snivy in Professor Juniper's lab, where he was chosen by Shooti as his starter Pokémon in In The Shadow of Zekrom!. Shortly after obtaining him, Shooti challenged Ash to a Pokémon battle and used Snivy against Ash's Pikachu. As Pikachu was unable to use Electric attacks due to an encounter with Zekrom, Snivy was able to defeat him easily.

Prior to BW005, Janovy was shown to have already evolved from a Snivy, when Ash challenged Shooti to another Pokémon Battle in a Battle Club in BW010. It quickly defeated Ash's Pikachu again with its Cut. During the battle with Ash's Snivy, he was revealed to be male when he became infatuated with her after being hit by her Attract. As Janovy was unable to attack, he was quickly defeated by her.

It is revealed by Cilan that Janovy defeated Chili's Pansear in his battle for the Trio Badge.
