Synopsis

Team Rocket decides that the best way to capture Pikachu is to attach him to Meowth. So, after digging a hole which Ash and his friends fall in, Jessie and James steal Pikachu and attach him to Meowth with a cord. Then, the pair of Pokémon are whisked away by a wild Pidgeot who carries them a far distance away. Pikachu shocks it, and the two are released. They spend the rest of the episode trying to find their repective groups but must stay together because of the cord. Finally, Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket find Meowth and Pikachu and battle for their Pokémon. Ash wins, and takes the key from Jessie. He unlocks Pikachu and, after Meowth and the other two of Team Rocket make one last attempt to steal Pikachu, sends the trio blasting off again.
