Masquerain (Japanese: アメモース Amemoth) is a Bug/Flying-type Pokémon.

If you take a look at Masquerain's "eyes" they seem to resemble a Noctowl's intimidating stare, perhaps as a technique meant to scare off any potential Pokémon predators.

In the anime
Masquerain first appeared in AG077. Drew was seen practicing with it for the upcoming Rustboro City Contest, which was in the following episode.
In Destiny Deoxys, a Masquerain was owned by Audrey. The Eyeball Pokémon helped to rotate the fan blades of the windmills in order for LaRousse City's power to come back on.
