Leveling up is something that happens. To see the status, see Level. +

There are 2 ways to level up:
1. Defeat a wild pokemon, trainer's Pokemon, or event Pokemon.

2. Use a Rare Candy.
- A Pokemon can level up up to 99 times by getting a Level 1 Pokemon, and leveling up the Pokemon to Level 100.
- However, it's impossible to do this in 1 battle.
