Like the six Colosseum Leaders, she cosplays a Pokémon, despite the fact that she is not a Colosseum Leader and is a Colosseum Master instead. There is a Trainer class called Sashay Fan Club. It is presumed Trainers of this class belong to a club of the same name.
Sashay consider herself an expert at dancing.
Interestingly enough, Sashay had white skin in the Japanese version of the game. However, her skin color was changed to black in the English version, making her the second black character in Pokémon.
When facing her in Little Battle format, her Trainer class is changed from Colosseum Master to Little Queen, a Trainer class exclusive to her.
Her Japanese name, Ribbon, is based on the fact that she is decked out from head to toe in ribbons. Her English name, Sashay, has the same origin, except with her wearing sashes instead of ribbons.
